Through launching the Women++ initiative, it should hope to establish the Women in Computing agenda be seen as a necessary and integral part of the department's strategy and activities.

In addition, to improve the gender balance in computing our Department will thrive as a department we should be aiming to change cultural and environmental factors which present barriers to attitudes that challenge female participation in Computing. , including with wider stakeholders within the university’s infrastructure.
